Defense is equally important, with gangs of enemies frequently able to reduce your life to almost nothing in a matter of seconds. Attacks are primarily done with the square and triangle buttons, the latter being her stronger and more flashy attacks.
She has access to four weapons at a time, accessed through the R2 button and selecting from the four different types while time slows down to a crawl, leaving her open to attacks while you’re swapping weapons. In combat, Zero has a number of tools at her disposal. The tale of Zero is far darker than most of the other stories they’ve told, and if the multiple endings to Drakengard 3 are anything like its predecessors, they’re bound to turn the whole narrative on its head. Hidden throughout most levels (referred to as Verses, in keeping up the lyrical theme of the game), are treasure chests that are often in obscured or hard-to-access areas, typically containing a myriad of gold, crafting materials, or weapons. With the map in hand, look to your right to find a wall next to some stalls. Glide west at this spot towards the taller building with a green roof.Ĭlimb up this wall to find another treasure chest with a Megalixir.įrom here, you'll want to head north then turn to the left just before the stairs. Land here before continuing to fly west to the L-shaped building some ways ahead. Tucked away at the bottom of this structure is a treasure chest containing an Electrum. Next, run up the building closest to that chest and you should the mechanism that holds one of the fragments. But first climb up wall to it's left to open a treasure chest.
Now for the heart fragment, hitting the wheels will move the symbols and you must align them with the lights of the same color.Īfter securing the first piece, climb back up the wall on the left and glide south all the way to the building with a windmill on top of it (oblong-shaped structure on the mini-map.) Drop to the bottom of this building on the left side and open the chest for a Wellspring Crystal.įrom here, you'll want to continue gliding west and drop down into the waterway. Turn south first to collect a Wellspring Gem from the chest then push east and hit the wheel at the end to open the gate. The second fragment is locked away in the cage here, so jump on the gate that just opened and run up the wall on the opposite side. Grab the Tarte au Fruits+ from the treasure chest on top before jumping off the other end to break the cage. Now leave the waterway by climbing up the wall on the north edge of the area. Be sure to activate the device on top of the wall and ride the new rail out.įollow the rail but make sure to jump off onto the building shown above, then head for the small stairs behind the tree for the final treasure chest. Now you can head over to the empty fountain at the west edge of the map, where you must all 4 spinning devices around it. Hit one until until it starts spinning really fast then move on to the next. You'll get a fragment once the fountain is fully activated.įor the last fragment, simply head for the area just north of the fountain to initiate a battle with Darkside. It's not that much different from how it was during the very beginning of the main game, so keep hitting any part that Sora can reach. Shotlocks work great too as they can go through several health bars with one maxed out shot. What comes after a few story bits is a familiar scene from the main game.
